Our Carson is ONE

We are happy to announce that our first grandchild is turning ONE on August 11. The proud parents, Dave and Christine, are hosting an open house for friends and family on that special day. Carson has brought us so much joy in this last year. He is so fun and always always has a smile. He love airplanes and hanging out with his Grandpa Unck. He loves to play fetch with Duncan and pull his tail(not so great for Duncan). He loves balloons and calls them "ba". Well, he has the sound down anyway. We love you Carsy!!! Happy first Birthday from Grandma and Grampa Unck.

Here we are in the middle of July already. Time goes so fast. Sadly, LaRon will be back to school before we know it. The reason I say that is because I love having him home.
I am proud to announce that I have a new granddog. He is a Yorkshire Terrier and his name is Kirby. Gina and Beau are the proud parents. He is nine weeks old and just joined them at home yesterday July 15.
I am still enjoying my little job checking at Harmon's. I like the people I work with and it pays for my Nintendo habit (LaRon says I need to grow up). Carson is as cute as ever. My grandson is cuter than my kids. Tee Hee. Thanks to all that have left comments for us. We really enjoy staying in touch.

Riiiiiiiiiinnnnnnnnnnggg School is OUT

Hello,
Once again it has been a while since I blogged. We are happy to announce that LaRon is now out of school for the summer. I get just as excited as he does because I know that we can do some things together. We just bought a new sectional for our basement. It is a Lazy Boy and has 3 recliners. It is a dark green and we love it. That leads to the fact that now we want to paint. Can't buy something new without it leading to something else.
I just started a new job checking at Harmon's grocery store. I don't know why other than I love to punch buttons, run my hands through money, look at food all day and I love to be around people.
Carson is now almost 10 months old on the 11th of June. He is soooo fun. He makes us laugh.
Our kids are doing great and we are happy about that. LaRon and I are blessed to have 2 super son-in-laws and a beautiful daughter-in law. Well, that's all for now.

Notes From Grandma

Well after a long absence, we are back.
A lot can happen in a short time, like our grandson Carson is almost 6 months old on the 12th of February. I have been babysitting while Dave and Christine work. It is challanging and most of all it makes me wonder how we took care of TWINS. Anyway, it makes me feel young again like a second chance to have a baby in the house again. He is so full of personality. He constantly smiles and loves to play. He even sleeps with a smile on his face. Really, it's true.
Here is what is going on with our family. Gina and Beau have just bought their own home in West Jordan and we are so excited for them. They have been painting and are about ready to get new carpet laid and then they will be moving in around the 15th of February. Nathan is in a Shakespere play, Much Ado About Nothing, and we went to opening night. It was so funny. Just as funny as the great movie. He will be doing Joseph and the Amazing... as Joseph . Angie is working at the church vault and we think that is awesome because they just put millions of names on the ancestry web from the microfiche records of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints.
Dave and Christine are getting ready to move and Christine is getting used to her new job at the Utah Surgical Center. She has been doing a lot of ortho, plastic and eye surgeries. Dave is almost finished with school and is working at USANA.
Well, LaRon just threw his back out and I have a sore toe. That is how exciting our life is.
See ya later(hopefully not much later)!

Let's get this thing rolling!

Hello,
After seeing and reading a few blogs, I thought Barbara and I should try and get "into the fire" and create our own blog. My first intention for this blog was to show everyone some pics of my family and so forth. But, as I start typing and seeing what a blog can do, hopefully all our family and friends can set up their own blogs and stay in touch with us through "blogging". If I can set this up, so can you. All I did was go to blogger.com and it directed through the easy setup. I hope to get some pics on soon and I guess I better tell Barbara I set this blog up in our names. Will "blog" soon with some pics and stuff.

LaRon
